Principal's Corner
HÃ¥fa Adai Pirate Families, Â
As the principal of W.T. Sampson Unit School, I am grateful for the opportunity to partner with all of you to promote and support our pirate scholars to be successful. Since my arrival in March of 2023, it has been an honor to serve our community. We have amazing students, great parents, and teachers who do their very best every day. We have an amazing PTO that works tirelessly to support the school through their many events, student store, appreciation days, and many more. We also have positive relationships with installation leadership, which is evident in our Partnerships in Education (PIE) proclamation. It truly is a team effort to support our pirate scholars. Â
As we know, living on GTMO has its challenges, however, we are all resilient and we take care of one another. Everyone in GTMO must be resilient because we all have a major role in the success of our community. At W.T. Sampson Unit School, we have our own sets of challenges, but our team has come together to ensure that our scholars are supported, challenged, recognized, and celebrated. As we strive towards success, we will continue to partner with all stakeholders to provide the most meaningful opportunities for our students. Â
I personally want to thank everyone that supports W.T. Sampson Unit School, but more importantly, for all the love and support for our pirate scholars. Have a great school year to everyone, past, present, and future. Achieve, Responsible, Ready, Respectful (ARRR)! Â
