The W.T. Sampson Elementary/High School transformed into a vibrant gallery for the Spring 2025 Art Show, a celebration of student creativity that drew the community together for an inspiring evening. Under the guidance of art teachers Sherri Thomas and Paul Kimmel, students from kindergarten through 12th grade showcased their artwork in a dazzling display of talent.

The opening night featured live music by seniors Dawson Lee on piano and Eston Charles-Villanueva, whose performances set an elegant tone for the event. Light snacks added to the welcoming atmosphere, inviting attendees to linger and appreciate the students’ creations. The exhibition, open to the public throughout the week, highlighted the artistic expressions of the school’s young artists.

Standout moments included Caroline Kackzimarski proudly displaying her painting and Marcos Hennessey engaging with the exhibits. Parents, staff, and students filled the space with enthusiasm.

The event underscored the power of art to connect and inspire, made possible by the dedication of students, teachers, and the supportive Guantanamo Bay community.
