Addressing such subjects with children can be challenging, but fostering open and honest communication is crucial. Ensuring that our loved ones feel supported in these conversations is essential. Notably, suicide is the second leading cause of death among individuals aged 10 to 24. In response to this pressing issue, Congress enacted a bill in 2020 to establish the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, a straightforward three-digit number for crisis assistance.
