W.T. Sampson Unit School VFW Teachers of the Year
W.T. Sampson Unit School is proud to announce that two of our teachers were named Teacher of the Year for our local VFW Post 12225.
Congratulations to Ms. Michelle Davis for being selected for the 2024-2025 Smart/Maher National Citizenship Education Teacher of the Year Award for Grades 6-8 by VFW Post 12225.
4th-grade teacher, Ms. Wendy Quill, was selected as the VFW Post 12225 Teacher of the Year for the K-5 division. In response to learning that she was selected, Mrs. Quill had this to say, "I am deeply honored and humbled to be nominated for Teacher of the Year by VFW Post 12225. I am so lucky to be able to do something that I love every day, and it is a privilege to be able to do it in this community. To be nominated by an organization that represents the values of service and sacrifice is especially meaningful."
