Spanish Language Learning Excitement!
Spanish teacher, Amber Hongell, is using technology in the classroom to help students learn Spanish.
She recently created an activity where students read a text packed with images🌿🏞️🧤 to make the content more comprehensible, as this was the 2nd day with this particular vocab. Then, they answered comprehension questions and participated in creative class discussions about community events & volunteering. 🗣️💬
The most exciting part was the next day when we had a spontaneous emoji story re-tell.😍Students took the story and retold it using emojis ONLY—all in Spanish!🔄✨It was amazing to see them connect language with visuals while laughing, engaging, and building confidence in their speaking skills.💪💬😊
Seeing my students' creativity and enthusiasm in action reminds me why I love teaching.❤️🌟I’m so proud of them and excited to keep incorporating new & dynamic techniques in class!🎉💖
