Senior Marine Corps Field Trip
This week, our seniors had an unforgettable adventure with the U.S. Marine Corps! The day kicked off at the iconic Marine Headquarters, known as the “White House,” and took them to historic landmarks like the Northeast Gate and Cuzco Wells.
The journey wrapped up at Cuzco Beach, where they explored the area known for the Battle, Cemetery, and Hacienda. Captain Phelps and his team of Marines went above and beyond, giving our seniors a hands-on experience they will not forget.
From learning about the fascinating history of the base to the show & tell of Marine weaponry and machinery, the students were captivated.
The highlight? A gripping recount of the Battle of Cuzco Wells, along with fun, little-known facts that made this trip more than just a tour—it was a thrilling deep dive into history and military life.
