FACS Sewing Fun

This week in Mrs. Sherri Thomas's class students learned the basic skills of sewing by hand and using a sewing machine. Students are exploring various careers under the umbrella of Family and Consumer Science. Sewing is a skill that students can use personally or in a Fashion Career Cluster area. 

When asked what sixth-grade student Caroline K. liked about sewing, she said that,  "Sewing could be useful in the future to aid in making clothes."

Great job Mrs. Thomas and students!
