Falling in line with last week's theme of Children’s Eye Health and Safety Month contact lens use and care is also a top concern for many of our students. Contact lenses are a great and effective way to correct vision but failure to wear, store, and clean them as directed can result in eye infections. There are multiple different kinds of contact lens and contact lens care systems and you should consult your optometrist for guidance. Remind your student of care and wear with the CDC’s slogan of Contact Lenses are like Underwear, don’t overwear, avoid the stretchy pair, and carry a spare.
