WT Sampson Educators Honored for Bringing History to Life Through National History Day’s “Silent Heroes” Project

We are thrilled to celebrate an extraordinary achievement by two dedicated educators, Jennifer Knopf and Ashley Moreno, who recently had their work published as part of National History Day’s prestigious “Silent Heroes” project.

Their article, now officially published, is more than just a scholarly accomplishment — it’s a powerful tribute to the often-overlooked individuals who shaped history through courage, sacrifice, and service. Through meticulous research and a deep commitment to historical truth, Ms. Knopf and Ms. Moreno have helped illuminate the stories of these unsung heroes, ensuring their legacies are not forgotten.
