Middle School Students Explore Kitchen Safety at W.T. Sampson ES/HS
Middle school students at W.T. Sampson ES/HS are cooking up confidence and skills in their Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) class! As part of their culinary education, students recently participated in a practice lab where they began learning to navigate the kitchen safely and effectively.
Before diving into hands-on activities, students studied essential topics including:
- ✅ Kitchen Safety & Sanitation
- 🦠 Foodborne Illnesses
- 🧼 Proper Hygiene Practices
These foundational lessons are helping students build lifelong skills in food preparation and health-conscious cooking.
